Julia, born in 1984 under the sign of Leo, is the Captain's right hand. Sunny, sporty, passionate sailor, she doesn't miss any of the boat races in the Gulf of Cagliari. Polyglot, she was graduated in sciences of economics and finance, then obtained Master's degree in risk management and decided that she would like to become a pirate when she grows up. She navigated with different vintage and tall ships before she fell in love with Sardinia. Being a vegetarian she cooks the best salads in the world. She is chartered as a seaman and is a member of Italian Sailing Federation. Respect of the environment is her lifestyle and she would love to spend her life navigating every sea, with every wind...

Captain

Mathias Andreas Reiter, born in 1963 under the sign of Sagittarius ... passionate about sailing from childhood on and experienced careful skipper, which keeps calm even with strong breeze. As authorized captain for the conduction of sport boats, 1st category member of the Italian sea people role “Gente di Mare” and member of the Italian naval and sailing association “Lega Navale e Federazione Italiana Vela”, the seas of Sardinia are my home.

I love sharing this enjoyment and to inspire and encourage in my co-sailors the joy of sailing introducing them in the secrets of the life on board. Ichnusa offers – atmospheric conditions permitting – to everybody on board to actively participate in sailing manoeuvres and to learn about theory and practise of sailing.
